This section takes users to a training page where GIS videos have been located. The training videos are tailored to complete beginners wishing to gain a better understanding of how LiDAR works, and how to manipulate the raw data so that hillshade models may be generated. Other aspects of GIS software related to LiDAR and archaeology are also covered.
This is an ongoing project (started in early 2026), therefore, the subscription fee has been kept to a minimum to facilitate as many subscribers as possible. This project will take many months and the videos will be released as they are made. Please keep on top of these releases by joining the Facebook group ‘LiDAR and Aerial Archaeology’ where the release dates will be advertised.
